Hello! I’m Gabrielle Dietrich, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years of experience in community mental health. I’m passionate about mental health and believe that therapy can be a powerful step toward healing, self-understanding, and building more fulfilling relationships. It’s a privilege to connect with those who courageously seek support, and I’m committed to meeting you exactly where you are on your unique journey.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups in various settings. My approach begins with creating a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel empowered, supported, and truly heard. I began my career advocating for and counseling survivors of child sexual abuse, sexual violence, and intimate partner violence, which gave me a deep understanding of trauma and the importance of trauma-informed care. In addition to trauma work, I’ve worked with families using Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy, helping clients understand how their relationships, environments, and larger systems impact their lives. More recently, I’ve worked in school settings, offering counseling for students and support for caregivers. This work has given me broad experience working with individuals who have diagnoses like PTSD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, depression and anxiety disorders.
My practice is holistic and client-centered, I love collaborating with clients to figure out what interventions are most appropriate for them. I utilize a variety of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am deeply committed to social justice, providing inclusive and anti-oppressive care, and I am proud to work with clients who identify as LGBTQIA+. Additionally, I take a neurodivergent-affirming approach, recognizing that different ways of thinking are valid and valuable.
